Ciara brought laid-back edge during rehearsals for the Citi Concert Series on NBC’s “Today” show on July 11, 2025. Photographers spotted her sporting a striking Ciara NYC black zipper hoodie that had elongated rehearsal wear redefined, and outfitted with some faint streetwear energy.
Relaxed Streetwear-Inspired Design
The designers maintained a relaxed, oversized and boxy structure with the hoodie design. And also included a loose fitting hood with drawstring closures, really giving it the proper cozy-hoodie feel. There were white zippers or white piping that cleanly ran down the outer sleeves. There was white piping framing the patch front pockets to add structure and bold contrast.

The extra-wide cuffs had hardware with metallic rings over the drawstring pulls. So, that’s extrapolated to material, a key unexpected component of this non-challenging garment. The makers used the thick materials typically used for fleece or jersey for the hoodies’ structure. The way it looked mixed comfort with performance-ready cool, like Ciara would add to any of her live performances.
The structure is clean, the fabric smooth, and it holds up well after multiple washes. Great buy!
